If you are like most western women right now, you are fried.
I have been there.
To say I barely survived the holiday season years ago isn’t an understatement – it’s a grand overstatement NOW, as things are radically different, but I remember the too many exhausted holidays spent pulling off a magical experience and feeling alone and discouraged in the midst of it all.
More than a few years left me in a pit of despair so black I wasn’t sure I could recover.
I remember those days and am just so grateful God redeemed that land the locusts had stolen. I remember crawling around on the floor picking up pieces of wrapping paper, furious to the point of tears… I’d never felt so alone.
And now, on the other side of it, I ask for help when I need it, make plans, divide up tasks, and just basically enjoy the season and my people. ALL of them.
I say, “no thank you,” and “I can’t,” and “Wish I could!”
And only do the things our Savior prompts me to do.
If your heart is feeling as empty as the space under tree now looks, let’s visit. “Divorce Monday” is coming – the first Monday in January, where exhausted wives decide to throw away something they’ve decided isn’t fixable.
I may be the only person in your life who will encourage you right now. If you don’t have any hope left, borrow mine.
Divorce is hard, staying in what you are in is hard, and fixing your marriage is also hard.
Choose your hard.
If you want a PLAN that’s PROVEN and backed by data, let me know with a PM. I’m on the other side of a hell I wasn’t sure I could get through, and now we are successfully helping couples turn their marriages around in just six months.
Even if you don’t think you can care again, God is bigger than all that.
Love to you,
Nina
