Are you done waiting for your marriage to change?

Okay, hard truth because I love you… ❤️  someone needs to tell you this…

If your marriage isn’t getting noticeably better each week it’s because you aren’t taking the right risks and inputting the right positives.

There is a science to a healthy marriage.

It’s also Biblical.

BUT … if you aren’t doing this already, it’s likely you are too afraid of rocking the boat to do what is needed to level things up.

“I want my marriage to be better but I don’t want to have boundaries because that just upsets people.”

“I can’t XYZ because he’ll just ABC.”

Sad way of saying “I feel safer staying stuck.”

Excuses.

Or… “Why do I have to be the one to change? Why can’t he take action?”

Blame and choosing a victim seat.

Hello? Seriously?? YOU see the issues. And you are the one equipped to deal with it.

How?

Stop leading with complaint (doesn’t work!) and take action with what does.

If you are miserable, it’s likely you are creating an environment that makes it super easy for your spouse to start or continue doing the wrong things to get their relationship needs met.

Think about that. What’s it actually like to be married to you?

Do you build up your spouse? Encourage them? Are on THEIR team 100% when something is going wrong for them?

DAILY??

Or do you point out his mistakes, criticize where he falls short, complain about what he does or doesn’t do? Call him names, let him know he is just like his father, make demands, and try to fix him, all the while giving him unsolicited advice in an effort to “help”?

Or even worse, lose emotional control and come unhinged at him? Making sure he knows what he isn’t doing for YOU?

How’s that working out?

Know it is DESTROYING your connection, AND damaging your kids.

It’s also sin.

Yep, I said it.

You might even have the “why should I have to ASK him for what I want… he should just know” myth at a full gallop.

Stop doing things that don’t work.

Someone had to tell you.

And… Maybe it’s the other way around and you are putting up with all that from HIM. That is lousy, for sure.

But…

Guess what? It isn’t as hard as you think to change all this, regardless of what you are dealing with.

I know because I’ve been there, and done that.

And I’ve helped plenty of other women turn things right side up, some even in A MONTH when they apply a proven process to facilitate relational change.

Our clients do this daily.

Reach out by emailing me at coachnina (at) greaterimpact.org or just respond via email if that’s how you got this if you are ready to step into being a woman of strength & dignity and say goodbye to the pain.

Love to you,

Nina
