Can I humbly ask for prayer?
I’m humbly asking for prayer…
It’s not often that I highjack my blog with a prayer request. I think the last time you saw me do this was when my husband had open heart surgery three years ago.
And I don’t want to communicate fear at all. I just want to rally the troops because this is legit.
In the last year, we have seen divorce with several top Christian bloggers. You can read the details here. We are concerned and asking for prayer coverage because this year God created Deflating Defensiveness, our training retreat that super-charges our relationship with God and the challenging people in your life, not to mention the people that aren’t so difficult to love.
We have seen women in verbally abusive marriages become women of strength and dignity…and turn their marriages around.
I have sensed that 2018 is an important year for us and will impact many lives and marriages.
I’m also knowing that we have been and will be targeted. By the enemy. And he is good at what he does. Will you please pray for us? And the other marriage and family bloggers you know?
Maybe you have sensed things heating up too. Just the fact that you are reading this and are interested in a marriage that glorifies God makes you a target as well. Consider yourself on the front lines with us – and join us in praying for battle victories and protection and perseverance.
I don’t want to glorify that other guy, and you may have your own experiences fighting evil. Let me know how we can pray for you today also!!
Love to you,
Nina
Praying that the Lord God Almighty will place a hedge of protection around all involved in this ministry, those who read this article and all of our families. I believe Satan has cranked us his attacks on marriages and families because he knows if he can undo families, everything else unravels. Let’s put him in his place ladies, and remind him that in the en, WE WIN!
I don’t know how this got so screwed up with so many spelling mistakes so here we go .
Satan is already a defeated foe, and you shouldn’t be afraid to call your enemy by his name.
What does a parent do when they scold a child to let them know they are really in trouble and that their serious?
They don’t say hey you, no excuse me other guy your in trouble. No the call them by their first, middle, and last name and a voice of authority over them letting them know that their serious, and letting them know who is boss and in charge around here.
We are called to trample over him, he is under our feet. It’s time we start acting like we are powerful Christian that we claim we are and that GOD says we are, and use the authority God have us. Instead of baby food fed Christians who lost their luster. Many of as Christians are like a burnt out light bulb still sitting in the socket, when the switch is turned on we can’t figure out why the light does not come on. It’s because there is no power. I don’t mean there is no power in the socket, I mean there is no power in the bulb. In real life the first thing we check is the bulb (us). But why in our Christian walk is the first thing we check or blame is the socket (God, Gods power, or lack there of)? We as the church many of us (myself included this is not a finger pointing thing, god is just walking me up) have lost power, been burnt out and dumbed out, and not walking in the power God. claims we have. We make excuses for why “Gods word is not working” instead of holding on to his word tightly and calling ourselves a liar. Gods word is always true, and we need to grip it tightly believe it, believe him. And not be moved by what we see or what a circumstance say, or what the the enemy whispers in our minds. The enemy is intelligent and he attacks you in your own mind and has trained you to think those are your thoughts. Grip Gods word above all else hold on to his promises and do not me moved by anything be a tree firmly planted. And watch your relationship flourish and him come alive in you.
We are called to be generals and leaders of Gods army. he has given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. The violent take the kingdom of heaven by force. The violent take it by force: they are not lazy wishes or cold endeavours that will bring men to heaven.
We are called to walk in power. Saying his name does not glorify him, that is a false teaching or belief. The world was created by words, and our power lies in our words(words that we think or speak) What a man thinks/speaks so is he. God talks about the words that come out of our mouth a lot and that is because that is where our power is for good or for bad. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. We have the power to literally speak blessings or literally speak curses. Which is why God tells us to put a guard over our mouth as not to speak curses or bad things over ourselves or others.
Ever heard the statement of you don’t identify the enemy and call him by his name your already defeated. You have to stand strong before the enemy. Because he roars around like a lion seeking devour all. The enemy is crafty. The Bible is a legal document. Which most seem to not know. But Satan knows this. He is like a crooked attorney who is looking to find a way to get a murder off the hook. He thoroughly examines this document (Gods word) looking for loop holes, to uses Gods word to enslave his own people. Which is why god tells us to meditate on his word day and night. So we can learn to see the tricks of the enemy and stand our ground.

Meant to say
“Should not be afraid”
April –
You are right! 🙂 Satan is crafty, and already defeated. I don’t mean to communicate an attitude of fear, so I hope that’s not what you are seeing. As a leader in God’s army, I see prayer as our most powerful weapon. Obedience to the Word is certainly a thing, too! A big one! I felt led to ask for prayer for our people and what we are doing, and I appreciate your thoughts on this. We do stand on God’s Word – and we want others to stand with us.
Love to you,
Nina
I will be praying with you, and sorry for the misundaerstanding
I really wish you had a class for unmarried women in these situations. My boyfriend of 4 years is verbally abusive. I would go to your class if it weren’t just for married women.
Kathi –
I’m so sorry you are dealing with this! And just so you know, the Deflating Defensiveness Training Retreat is for any woman. I hope to see you there.
I’m praying for you.
Love to you,
Nina
Thank you!
As I pray for you, I ask that you pray for my husband and I.. We need prayer for our marriage
Nichole –
I’m so sorry to hear this. Of course I will pray for you both. Glad you are here – you aren’t alone.
Love to you,
Nina
Amen! Praying with you.
