Santa Dare… or Santa Dear…
When my kids were little, we put a white stocking over our fireplace and wrote “gift for Jesus” on pieces of paper and left them in a pile near it. The children would do a random act of kindness for a family member, then write it on the paper and put it in the stocking. On Christmas Eve, we would read the gifts aloud as part of our family celebration.
Yesterday, in a group of women affiliated with our Facebook page, one of them posted what she did when her husband suggested she write a letter to Santa. I thought it was a nifty idea and she gave me permission to share it.
Instead of putting cookies out for Santa, she put these out for her husband…
And check out the letter she wrote him…
As for me, I’m totally copying this idea as soon as we get some cookies made!
What about you? What traditions or neat ideas does your family participate in over the holidays? Dare you to share!
Glad to be on the journey with you!
Love to you,
