When I Stumble…

I’m sorry.

It’s been a week. Just know when I’m not blogging, the enemy is running rampant.

I’m surprised and wiser now, hope to talk about it sooner, versus later.

And, thanks to a technology glitch, we’ve of course had no access to our prayer team when we need them most.

And the enemy’s been all over our kids, and our marriages, and we have just 13 weeks until we are planning to launch.

So our attention, especially mine, has been elsewhere this week… because…

whatever we pay attention to grows kids

So we covet your prayers.

Please pray perseverance for us, patience, His mercies, His will. And for the bazillions of details for Daughters of Sarah to be complete – correctly – so we can get that class off the ground.

Because it changes everything.

And… I’m going to REST this weekend.

And I will be back next week.

With some great tips, some hard earned lessons, some bought with tears… the ones that make the class even better than it was before.

In the meantime, you might look at this post about how to  stop being defeated by conflict in your marriage.

And will you fill in the gap by praying for us over the next 7 weeks?  We’re still not sure what we’re going to do about our prayer team – trying to figure that out. And our Ecourse starts Monday – they need cover, too!

Good grief. 😛

And if you are parenting small people, you should totally follow Leah and Debbie if you have tweens, teens, or twenty-somethings. Like us on Facebook so you can know when Daughters of Sarah becomes available in video format this year, or schedule one of our weekend retreats. I’m also active on Twitter as @NinaRoesner.  Come join the discussions!

Love to you,

  1. When the enemy strikes in such strong ways it is often to deter you from doing what God wants you to do. You are walking in God’s will, the enemy knows it and is trying to deter you because what you and your team are doing with Daughters of Sarah will be for God’s glory, glory he wants for himself. Keep pushing ahead in Jesus’ strength! I pray you keep persevering in bringing God’s plan forth in Daughters of Sarah and that His wisdom pours on you as you prepare to launch this program. May you be recharged and renewed in His power for His power is made perfect in weakness. God bless.

    • Aixa (what a pretty name!)
Thank you. We are continuing, it’s hard, but we will keep moving. THANK YOU for praying. It means so much. 🙂
      Love to you,

    • Kayla –
I believe that too, although I also know God’s allowing it for His good purposes… ugh. 😛
      THANK YOU!
      Love to you,

  2. Praying for you, Sister! The enemy tries SO hard to attack our Christian marriages… Daily, we have to pick up our cross and surrender to Him (easier said than done) – and daily, we have to not go into cruise control…. As you said (Love it!) – “whatever we pay attention to, grows” — good for you for taking the weekend to rest and get your eyes back on Him. Thank you for all of your encouragement~ Love to you, Robin

    • Robin –
Thank you so very very much for your prayers – they are precious to us all. 🙂 SERIOUSLY. And for the wise words. 🙂
      Love to you,
